Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool checks the computer that is running Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 that are specifically infected by malicious software that is commonly spread including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom and helps the process of disinfection when found.
When the detection and removal process is complete then the Microsoft Removal Tool will display a report describing the outcome, malicious malicious software was detected and removed.

Microsoft released an updated version of the Malicious Removal Tool on the second Tuesday of every month, and needed to respond to security incidents. This tool is available from Microsoft Update, Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center.
